Get Your Roll On at The Railyard

Grab your friends and head to The Railyard for some good old-fashioned skating fun. Whether you’re joining us on a weeknight for one of our themed party events or a casual Sunday afternoon with the family, you’re going to have a good time!

General Information

Brought to you in partnership with Group Therapy, roller skating at The Railyard is a fun way to get out of the house and enjoy a date, get together with friends, or create family memories!

Open Skate

Join in on the fun during Open Skate! Rent a pair of skates or bring your own to this fun event.


  • Wednesday:
    • 1:00 PM-6:30 PM Open Skate
    • 7:00 PM-10:00 PM Themed Skate
  • Thursday:
    • 1:00 PM-6:30 PM Open Skate
    • 7:00 PM-10:00 PM Themed Skate
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM Open Skate

Admission Fee (includes skate rental)

  • Adults: $10
  • Children ages 4-11: $5
  • Children ages 3 & under: Free

You can also rent a $5 safety kit which includes a helmet and knee and elbow pads with your rental.

Themed Party Nights

The party really gets going on Wednesday and Thursday nights, when live DJs, events, and games add even more run to roller skating at The Railyard!

  • Thursday: 7:00 PM-10:00 PM

  • Children: $5

Themes change every week, so keep an eye out on our social media channels! Although it’s encouraged, you don’t have to dress to the theme to take part in roller skating at The Railyard.

Where Do I Park?

You can find various metered parking lots around the Haymarket and Canopy St. The area also has several parking garages, many of which offer the first hour free! In addition, street parking is free after 6:00 PM and all day on Sunday. Click here for a map of your parking options.

Can I Bring My Own Skates?

Yes. However, the admission fee remains the same.

What Sizes of Skates Are Available to Rent?

Our rentals come in toddler size all the way up to size 13 men.

How Do I Pay?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept cash.

Are Socks Required for Rental Skates?

Socks are required. New socks will be available for purchase at the skate shack.

Do I Need to Sign a Waiver?

Yes, you need to sign a waiver before entering the roller skating rink.

Can Children Skate Alone?

Anyone under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult. Teenagers between the ages of 12-18 can skate alone if they present a signed parental waiver.

Can I Get Something to Eat in The Railyard?

Yep! Whether you’re craving pizza, sushi, a burger, BBQ, and more, the restaurants in The Railyard have you covered.
